The Living Quietness

The whole world is your home. I am the Mother of the wicked, I am the Mother of the virtuous. Whenever you are in distress, say that 'I have a Mother'. Sri Sarada Devi.

Walking a Conscious Life

'I was born to serve God's poor' is a bold announcement by Mother Teresa of her life.

For some reason this statement strung in unison to a current of awareness that I soon came across: 'I was born to learn and use language' defined Gary Zukav in a single line his primary soul intent.

I have worshipped Mother Teresa for knowing this and saying this about herself. To me it has a voice of such conviction, of such passion. It is a voice that makes me catch my breath for the consciousness which I hear in those words, with which Mother Teresa lived her life's path.

Her level of passion and awareness of her life in those few words resonated to be similar to Gary Zukav's passion for and awareness of his life in the words about him: 'I was born to learn and use language'.

The following is an extract from the children's story, 'The Wonderful Life of a Fly Who Couldn't Fly' by Bo Lozoff.

'The younger fly whispered, "Please, tell me more.
What did the Great Mother of Life make me for?
If I'm a fly who can't fly, then what will I do?"
Her mama replied, "I can't solve that for you."

"That is you mission, your own special quest,
To find for yourself the things that you do best.
..." '

According to Caroline Myss's works on the 'Sacred Contracts', which I am a continuing student and which I hope to be one for a long time to come, there are several contracts that one has in this lifetime and that can be uncovered. In addition, I also understand there be one underlying theme, that if by Grace and the will of God, could be excavated or remembered.

A few days ago, while pondering upon such a deeply moving content as this, I heard myself saying, 'I have a destiny to create through writing'. I pray I hold on to this as it comes naturally. I continued praying that nothing comes on the way now to engage with this power and talent that longs to be invoked and invoked to let passion run through me just as Mother Teresa's service to the poor allowed the same currents of passionate energy run through hers, and just as Gary Zukav is alive to me through his learning and using language, to express about authentic power.
