The Living Quietness

The whole world is your home. I am the Mother of the wicked, I am the Mother of the virtuous. Whenever you are in distress, say that 'I have a Mother'. Sri Sarada Devi.

Mother's love.

Mother Sarada says, even Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna gave way to the power of the occult, although as one would to a sneeze!
Why should I, an ordinary mortal not give way to the power of the thought field, that consumes the self pretty much almost my entire waking life.

When it gets hard to 'put my mind where my hands are', I remembered Mother Sarada's compassion for the one immersed in the world. Mother has said that when one is in the life of objects, one's mind is bound to fall into illusion. Mother's compassion is for each one bonded to the illusory world.

Mother also once said of Her own self, that in the role of the Mother Herself, she forgets the Truth and is unable to stop from serving and staying in love for her people who were around her. Sri Ramakrishna is said to have delighted in this purest of Her Love for the world around Her.
