The Living Quietness

The whole world is your home. I am the Mother of the wicked, I am the Mother of the virtuous. Whenever you are in distress, say that 'I have a Mother'. Sri Sarada Devi.

Seeing the Lord in suffering

Jesus speaks:
Daughter I am there
In you
Everytime you experience
Pain, in your body.
I am there in
Every cell:
The pain in your
Cells in Who I am.

It is not you
Who suffer the
Human pain:
Daughter, there is no you:
I and only I remain.

Not yourself.
Myself is all that you are.

O dear father Jesus,
How arrogant
That, I would think
It was me that
Suffers the conditions
Of going through life.

While Mother shows ,
As the accomplisher of
All earthly duties -
Which Divine Mother is
Also the bountiful love filling all,
The giver of joy -

O, father Jesus,
How did I miss
In that it is not me
Who is suffering -
It is You -
O Bearer of this sinning human -
It is you
Who pulsate the
Cells of my being,
Who comes upon
Reminding it is not Me
But Thyself within the
Cells of the sufferings.

Father Jesus, You who
Bore the thorn
In Your Head, that bleeded -
The pain in my
Head now
Is the pain you bore then.

"None of our
Hands are clean":
It is this human
Pain that bled in your
Scalp.

It is still You
That is the very suffering
In every human head -
The torment and torture
You bore on earth
You still bear in my earthly body:
It is You, not me: You "alone suffice".

Daughter, I have
Come upon the earth
And have suffered
For you:
You do not
Suffer anymore.
It is Me.
See Me alone
In Your life's
Momentus pain -
Look deeply,
And you will
See Me and you
As One and as Me alone.
And I am
That suffering
Itself that runs.
