The Living Quietness

The whole world is your home. I am the Mother of the wicked, I am the Mother of the virtuous. Whenever you are in distress, say that 'I have a Mother'. Sri Sarada Devi.

'Ask and It Shall be Given'

Mother Sarada is said to have looked at the moon and prayed to God saying there are specks that appear even in the moon but make Herself pure.

Nothing can be experienced, achieved or accomplished without prayer.

As I enter the primal phases of my human life, especially as a mother and a wife and a woman of my own, I also seem to enter the shadows of this life - impatience and irritation holds me like the dearest of my friends, which are only pains. Such pain as I resist is taking me to other unpleasatness such as angry expressions.

I have run away from myself as far as possible to avoid living by giving in to these unpleasantness and probable expression finding a way through me.

Now I pray to Mother Sarada Herself - Mother make me a sweet expression of Life; unpleasantness and pain are in me and everywhere, but make me a pleasant expression and experiencer of life.

Nothing is possible without prayer. So instead of losing myself to the harshness that comes through me, I pray to become an instrument of love, of pleasantness and kindness of expression through words and actions.

'There is nothing but love'.
